Theories of closely related professions and disciplines, such as psychology and sociology have long been studied to foster systematic understanding of an array of health phenomena. This CAI addresses the development of these theories and defines four parts of the anatomy of a theory: assumptions, concepts, relationship statements and research, and practice evaluation. This system, designed for introduction early in the graduate program, is written for international use.
